The Garden Route in pictures.
Following the Indian Ocean coast roughly from Mossel Bay to Storms River, the Garden Route threads together indigenous forests, lakes, lagoons and golden beaches. The lagoon town of Knysna and its sandstone Heads are a scenic centrepiece, while Tsitsikamma's coastline offers some of the country's finest hiking. Mild weather and abundant wildlife make it one of South Africa's most beloved touring corridors.
