Cape of Good Hope in pictures.
Set within Table Mountain National Park at the foot of the Cape Peninsula, the Cape of Good Hope and neighbouring Cape Point mark a wild meeting of land and ocean long feared by early mariners. Towering cliffs, a historic lighthouse and a funicular reward visitors with views over two oceans' worth of swell. The surrounding reserve is home to baboons, ostriches, eland and a wealth of seabirds.
