Natural wonder
In Ghana, West Africa
Wli Waterfalls in pictures.
Tucked into the forested Agumatsa Range near the Togo border, Wli Falls is the highest waterfall in West Africa, cascading down sheer cliffs in two tiers. A scenic trail through butterfly-filled rainforest leads to the lower falls, where a refreshing pool invites a swim beneath colonies of fruit bats clinging to the rock face. It is the highlight of Ghana's lush Volta Region.
